REEL CULTURE. REAL COMMUNITY.

REEL CULTURE. REAL COMMUNITY.

MEET THE

OJAI FILM SOCIETY

The largest free event series in the Ojai Valley.

Founded in 1988, the mission of the Ojai Film Society (OFS) is to present quality independent, foreign, documentary, critically acclaimed, and classic films to the Ojai Valley, outdoors, in community for free. We are a volunteer-run organization led by our Board of Directors, with support from our screening committee, and over a dozen volunteers.

We proudly reach over 3,000+ attendees annually through our FREE summer screening series at Libbey Bowl, making us one of the largest free event series in the Ojai Valley. Our audience is a true cross-section of the people who live in this community, with attendees ranging in age from children to 96+ years of age. We have welcomed everyone — no matter one's age, race, gender, economic background, political views, or physical capabilities. Since moving to Libbey Bowl in 2022, we have surpassed 12,000 RSVPs.

We hope you join us!

3,000+ ATTENDEES EACH YEAR.
